DG NIMA, Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmed Saeed attended the 13th Annual Conference on “Port & Shipping, Logistics, and SCM” held at Movenpick hotel, Karachi. DG NIMA was invited as Guest of Honour on the occasion. During his talk, he briefed about NIMA’s role and functions as a Maritime think-tank and highlighted the importance of Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). DG NIMA also shed light on reasons, due to which China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is facing delays and emphasised on increased collaboration and integration between states. The event was attended by high-profile dignitaries related to the transportation and shipping industry.
