One day focused talk series was organized by National Institute of Maritime Affairs, on the topic “Maritime Environment in Indian Ocean Region and Energizing OIC Maritime Forum”. The main objective of this focus talk was to determine and develop an OIC led Maritime Organization, Co-operation in Security and Blue economy, create synergy in the Maritime sector by developing capacities, information and resource sharing, disaster risk reduction, and academic & Scientific co-operation in the maritime sector.
