National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), Karachi successfully organized 10^th International Maritime Conference (IMC 23), during Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC) at Karachi Expo Centre from 10 to 12 February 2023. The topic of the conference was “Embracing Blue Economy – Challenges and Opportunities for Developing Countries”.

The speakers having relevant experience and qualifications in maritime domain from around the globe were invited as guest speakers for the conference that includes 12 National Speakers and 15 International speakers. The conference sessions were chaired by high profile dignitaries including federal ministers, senators and senior naval flag officers. During the 3 days conference, 4 marathon sessions, each having two sub sessions were held. A total of 27 speakers presented their papers in the conference with 23 physical papers and 04 virtual papers.

 Papers presented in the conference will be compiled and printed in a book format. The proceeding book will be sent to research institutes, universities and maritime stakeholders. The same will also be uploaded on NIMA website.
