NCMPR Karachi organized a discourse on an important subject “Contemporary Issues of Pakistani Seafarers: Challenges and Options” on Thursday 9th August 2018 at Fatima Jinnah Hall Bahria University Karachi Campus. Captain Anwar Shah (Merchant Navy) Member PNSC Board of Directors and former DG Ports and Shipping graced the event as the Chief Guest. Mr. Adam Panjri General Secretary Pakistan Seamen’s Union (PSU) delivered the talk on the subject as Guest Speaker. Cdre (Retd) Ali Abbas SI(M) while highlighting significance of the topic, welcomed the participants on behalf of DG IMA and thanked for their presence on the occasion. The event was attended by large numbers of serving/ retired naval officers, seafarers, reps of various Maritime organizations (Govt and Non Govt) and shipping sector. After the formal talk, an intellectual discussion cum Q & A session was held to analyze the relevant issues thread bear.
