DG NIMA, Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmed Saeed HI (M), along with Director NIMA (K) Cdre (Retd) Ali Abbas SI (M), had a meeting with Mr. Syed Daim Ali Shah, president of Pakistan Aquaculture Association (PAA). During the meeting policy constraints for adaptation & promotion of aquaculture were discussed. The potential of Aquaculture and shrimp farming across the coast and inland farming, opportunities and Challenges, adaption of modern farming techniques, the and way forward faced by the Aquaculture Sector in Pakistan were discussed. Furthermore, both parties showed great interest in the establishment of a Hatchery for seed production, and crab farming.
