Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmed Saeed HI (M), President NIMA, along with Director NIMA Karachi Cdre (Retd) Ali Abbas SI (M), called on Mr. Asim Siddique, Managing Director, Pakistan Intermodal Limited. During the meeting, topics of mutual interest were deliberated, and multiple avenues were brought to consideration for potential collaboration between Pakistan Intermodal Limited and the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA). Both parties expressed their commitment to exploring opportunities that would enhance intermodal transportation capabilities and contribute to the overall development of the maritime sector in Pakistan.

Additionally, discussion was made on the importance of fostering strong, sustainable logistics solutions for the country's growing trade demands. Ideas on shipping, transshipment, and transit cargo from which the two organizations can work together to explore avenues for the progress of the maritime sector of Pakistan were also discussed.
