Institute of Maritime Affairs and Institute of Policy Studies organized a joint advocacy seminar on ‘U.S. Exit from Iran Nuclear Deal: Emerging Geo-political Dynamics” on 5 September 2018 at IPS Islamabad. The Director National Center for Maritime Policy Research Islamabad, Commodore (Retd) Baber Bilal SI(M) was keynote speaker on the occasion. The seminar was chaired by Ambassador (Retd) Khalid Mahmood, Chairman, Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad whereas the key discussants included Dr. Azhar Ahmad, Head of Department, Humanities and Social Sciences, Bahria University Islamabad, Ambassador (Retd) Tajummal Altaf, Senior Research Associate, IPS, and Air Commodore (Retd) Khalid Iqbal, Chairman, IPS Committee on Pakistan’s Geo-Strategic and Geo-Political Dynamics. The event was well attended by large number of academicians, policy experts from various think tanks, faculty, students and researchers.
