Ms. Iram Zahid RA at NIMA was selected to represent Pakistan in IVLP on U.S

10 Sept 2025 – Ms. Iram Zahid, Research Associate at the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), was selected to represent Pakistan in the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on U.S. Innovation in Water Resource Management. She was among 10 distinguished participants, including policymakers, engineers, and government officials. The program began in Washington, D.C., followed by visits to Nebraska and California to study agricultural water use, infrastructure, and governance. Participants engaged with organizations such as Lindsay Corporation, State Water Contractors, and the California Department of Water Resources. The tour concluded in San Francisco, fostering knowledge exchange and international cooperation in water resource management.
