10 Nov 2025:NIMA celebrated the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree upon Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed HI(M) (Retd), President NIMA, approved by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, on the recommendation of the Senate of the Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC), Malaysia.

The degree was formally awarded on 4 November 2025 during NMUC’s 9th Convocation Ceremony held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, marking a proud recognition of Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed’s distinguished leadership and lifelong contribution to the maritime sector.
