Delegation from the Sri Lankan High Commission visits NIMA
A delegation from the Sri Lankan High Commission, led by Rear Admiral Fred Seneviratne and Deputy High Commissioner Christy Ruban Augustin, visited the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA). The delegation was accorded a warm welcome and briefed about the Institute. The briefing was focused on potential collaborations, including joint research initiatives, conferences, seminars, exchange programs, etc
The High Commissioner expressed strong support for deepening Pakistan-Sri Lanka maritime collaboration, commending NIMA’s efforts in promoting maritime awareness and research. He hoped this relationship would further enhance maritime ties between the two nations. It will build on existing friendly relations to collaborate in maintaining regional maritime security.
