In the preceding week, National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) had the privilege of hosting distinguished maritime leaders and policy experts to advance Pakistan’s maritime and Blue Economy initiatives. NIMA held interactive sessions with Captain Fazal ur Rehman Qasim Butt (PNSC), Ambassador Ayub; former Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Kanwar Muhammad Javed Iqbal (FAO), and Dr. Shahid Aslam Mirza (MD Korangi Fish Harbour Authority), discussing maritime diplomacy, shipping, fisheries governance, Blue Economy collaboration and academia industry linkages, highlighting NIMA’s commitment to strategic collaboration and sustainable maritime growth for Pakistan.
