18 Sept 2025 -The NIMA-K research team led by Ms. Komal Shabbir, assisted by Ms. Hania Aijaz and fellow researchers, visited Mubarak Village and Sonehri Beach to engage with local communities on their perspectives about Eco-tourism. The activity also included air and water quality assessments to evaluate the current environmental status of coastal communities of Pakistan.
This activity reaffirmed NIMA’s commitment to sustainable coastal development, community engagement, and evidence-based environmental research.
