NIMA-K team visited the Russian Navy flotilla at Karachi Port.

17 March 2025, Karachi: A NIMA-K team led by Cdr Owais Naseer PN visited the Russian Navy flotilla at Karachi Port, where they were welcomed by the Russian Naval & Air Attaché and the ship’s CO. Discussions focused on maritime think tank collaboration, Russia’s blue economy, ocean research, and technological innovations, with offers to share insights for enhanced coordination. Interest was shown in PIMEC-2025 and other global conferences. The visit concluded with an exchange of NIMA publications, souvenirs, and a ship tour.
