President NIMA was invited by the Govt of China at the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum

17 Sept 2025 –Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed HI(M) (Retd), President NIMA, was invited by the Govt of China as a delegate (speaker) at the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum (17–19 Sep 25). It’s a high-level defence and security forum that brought together over 500 global leaders and experts.
In his high level talk, the admiral emphasized the pivotal role of leadership in an era of rapid technological innovation and evolving forms of warfare, cautioning that unregulated AI evolution could erode human dignity that may lead to catastrophic consequences. He called for the establishment of clear redlines, robust global governance, and regulatory mechanisms, echoing various initiatives put forward by the President of China.
Dr. Baber Bilal Haider, Director IOSC, also attended the forum as a delegate.
